Twelve people have been injured and several others hospitalized following multiple car-crash that involved Toyota Voxy with the Registration number GN 9883 -25 collided with Nissan Altima GW 1895-09 at Gomoa Amenfi on the Winneba- Mankesim Highway.
Information gathered indicates that, the Toyota Voxy loaded with passengers from Kasoa to Cape Coast made a wrongful overtaken and collided with the Nissan Altima from the opposite direction, resulting in another collision with a Hyundai Elantra saloon car with the Registration GR 1972-15.
Eight passengers who were on the Toyota Voxy were in critical condition while four others who were also in the Nissan Altima also got injured.
All the 12 passengers have been admitted at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital while Winneba Police and Apam Fire service officers have cleared the road to ease traffic.
