A total of 182 new lawyers barring any changes have qualified and are expected to be called the bar on Friday, May 31, 2024.
This was contained in a notice signed and issued by the Director of the Ghana School of Law.
According to the notice issued, the list is not exhaustive and may change upon the attention of the General Legal Council regarding certain irregularities.
One notable name among the list is social media influencer and self-confessed bi-sexual Ghanaian, Elorm Ababio popularly known as Ama Governor.
Completing her law degree from the Ghana School of Law in 2021, she was denied her call to the bar in 2022 and 2023 but after meeting some requirements, the young aspiring lawyer has now been granted the opportunity.
The induction ceremony is expected to be held at the Accra International Conference Centre.
