A 20-member delegation from the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS), Lower Usuma-Dam Bwari Abuja, Nigeria, led by Mr Rafiu Bolarinwa Adekunle, has conducted a one-week study tour of some security institutions in Ghana.
The tour was under the theme “Non-State Actors in Security Management: Issues, Challenges, and Prospects for Peace and Development in Africa”. It aimed at fostering collaboration between Ghanaian and Nigerian security experts.
The delegation visited the Army and Navy Headquarters, Ministry of Defence, Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping and Training Centre, the National Investigations Bureau and the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service.
