The South Koreans put in an excellent performance in the second half, coming from two goals down to cancel Ghana’s two-goal lead through Cho Gue-sung.

Minutes after the leveller from Korea, Mohammed Kudus with a man-of-the-match performance, placed Ghana ahead again with an assist from Inaki Williams.

Ghana came under intense pressure from the Koreans as they looked for an equalizer.

However, the Black Stars were solid defensively as chances continued to fall the way of South Korea.

The victory now puts Ghana second on the table, with Portugal and Uruguay set to battle it out at 7 pm.
