FIFA has appointed English referee Anthony Taylor for the Black Stars’ second group game against South Korea on Monday, November 28, 2022.
The Black Stars will play against South Korea in a must-win following their opening-day defeat to Portugal at the Education City Stadium to brighten their chances of progressing to the next stage of the tournament.
Anthony Taylor was enlisted as FIFA referee in 2013 and has officiated several international games including the famous UEFA Euro 2020 group-stage match between Finland and Denmark where midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch which required emergency treatment.
