The Ghana Foot all Association (GFA), has announced an increment in the cash prize for winner of the betPawa Ghana Premier League for the upcoming 2023/2024 season.
The announcement was made by the President of the GFA, Kurt Okraku, in Koforidua in the Eastern Region, during the launch of the new league season.
The next winner is expected to receive an amount of GH¢500,000, which means the amount has been up by GH¢200,000.
In the 2022/2023 Premier League season, Medeama Sporting Club, received GH¢300,000 as the cash prize for emerging as winner.
Among other things, the champion will also receive a trophy and 40 medals.
The team which finishes in second-place will also be awarded with GH¢200,000, whiles the third-placed team will receive GH¢100,000.
