The Black Meteors of Ghana has been drawn in group A for the 2023 U-23 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Host nation Morocco, Congo and Guinea are the other teams who will battle it out of the group with Ghana.
The 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations will be the 4th edition of the quadrennial African football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for its male national teams consisting of players under 23 years of age
Top three teams which will emerge in the tournament will represent Africa at the the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The last time Ghana participated Olympic Games was in the year 2004, in Anthens, Greece and the Meteors will seek to qualify for the 2024 edition in Paris.
The U-23 AFCON tournament is scheduled to begin June 28 and end on July 8, 2023.
