Voting has officially begun across 40,975 polling stations nationwide as Ghanaians choose a new president and 276 members of parliament.
A total of 18,807,854 registered voters are expected to participate in the exercise, with polling stations scheduled to close at 5:00 p.m.
The Electoral Commission, along with polling party agents, security personnel, media representatives, and election observers, is working to ensure the process is smooth, fair, and transparent in all designated stations.
The outcome of the 2024 elections is considered pivotal for Ghana, as voters decide on leaders to guide the nation’s political and economic direction for the years ahead.
