The Ministry of Education has announced the release of the 2024/25 placement results for Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

According to an official statement, the Ministry received a total of 563,339 results from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), of which 553,155 candidates met the requirements for placement. Out of these qualified candidates, 447,698 representing 80.93% were automatically placed in one of their preferred schools.

Another 104,918 qualified candidates could not be matched to any of their choices according to the Ministry of Education’s statement.

Students who were not placed are also encouraged to visit the Self-Placement platform to select a school of their choice.

Qualified students are to visit the official CSSPS website at https://www.cssps.gov.gh or https://www.cssps.org and enter the ten-digit index number followed by the year of completion (e.g., if completed in 2024, use the format 123456789024) and then click the “Submit” button and wait for the placement result to be displayed.

The public is also informed that in “addition to the National Solution Centre at the GNAT Hall, Adabraka, Accra and ALL the 16 Regional Solution Centres, they can call our helpline on 0308258001 for all concerns.”
