Black Queens again enjoyed a super performance on Tuesday afternoon when they met Rwanda in their second leg match in the ongoing 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Accra.

Alice Kusi’s first half hat-trick inspired the Black Queens to complete a double over their Rwandan counterparts, scoring twelve goals in both legs.

Once more, Ghana got off to a strong start when Alice Kusi gave them the lead 22 minutes into the game with a superb long range strike.

Four minutes later, she added the second of the afternoon, with Princella Adubea providing the assist.

With another spectacular long-range goal in the 37th minute, she completed a hat trick for the Black Queens before Evelyn Badu added the fourth to wrap up the first half.

After the break, Rwanda played considerably better, but they were unable to seriously threaten the Black Queens’ defense.

However, Nora Hauptle’s women continued their fine form and scored one more goal to seal their victory.

The victory means the Black Queens have now progressed to the next round of the qualifiers and will face Namibia.
