A total of twenty-one (21) participants drawn from the military and other security services have commenced a two-week handball officiating course at the Ghana Armed Forces Physical Training School, Whistler barracks in Teshie.
The Guest of Honour, Deputy Director Tri Service Training School, Lieutenant Colonel Oscar Daniel Opoku said the course would equip participants with requisite skills and knowledge, reminding participants that the course has been designed to prepare them as officiating officials.
President of the Handball Association of Ghana, Mr Edward Nii Lartey Bannerman urged participants to study modern officiating rules and uphold integrity.
He presented four new handballs to the Physical Training School on behalf of the Association to enhance training.
