29 more persons die from COVID-19; death toll hit 685

Twenty-nine more Ghanaians have died from COVID-19 increasing Ghana’s death toll from 656 to 685, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reported.

The latest update by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) shows that 29 more deaths have been recorded with 10 new cases pushing the country’s new cases count to 282.

A total of 87,762 confirmed cases and 3,908 active cases have been recorded.

A total of 83,169 recoveries and discharges have been recorded since COVID-19 was first imported into Ghana mid-March 2020.
