A medical Physiotherapist who is also in charge of the Kokor Physiotherapy and Massage Center in the Greater Accra Region has revealed that, about 90% of Ghanaians are living with stroke unknowingly.

According to the physiotherapist, most young men and women in Ghana are at a high risk of developing stroke before they get into their old age.

She articulated the cause of it to the excessive intake of liquors, bitters to enhance sexual satisfactions and lack of regular exercise.

The physiotherapist added that number of young people developing stroke in recent days outweighs that of the adults.

She urged the general public to pay attention to their health when it comes to the prevention of stroke .

The physiotherapist said this at her engagement with the media this morning to educate the public on the prevention and management of stroke.
