Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaah, Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources has said population with access to water has increased by 3%, from 89% to 92%.
She took her turn at the Minister’s Press Briefing being held at the Information Ministry on Wednesday June 23, 2021.
According to her, an Afro Barometer Survey findings (SDG Scorecard), indicates that about 33% of Ghanaians do have access to household toilets, an increment by 15%.
“Population with access to water has increased by 3% i.e. from 89% to 92%.”. She added
She made references to the efforts by the Ministry to improve access to potable water, provide household and institutional toilets, safeguard our water resources and handle waste in the country.
