The Deputy National Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), George Krobea Asante, has donated twelve brand-new mobile phones and an undisclosed amount of cash to support communicators in the Nkawkaw and Abirem constituencies.
The donation took place yesterday, October 13, 2024, at the Nkawkaw Party Office and Afosu Durbar Grounds, respectively. This initiative is part of Krobea’s personal effort to encourage the party’s communicators, helping them promote the government’s achievements and the Presidential and Parliamentary Candidates ahead of the December elections.
Krobea also presented a mobile phone to the leader of the Volunteers group in the Abirem constituency, recognizing her dedication and hard work towards the campaign.
About two months ago, Krobea met with communicators in the Abirem constituency, including serial callers, and provided financial support. He also committed to offering monthly stipends to Abirem’s communicators for the next four months, up until the elections.
“I hope this gesture will inspire the beneficiaries to work even harder for the party and contribute to breaking the 8,” Krobea said.
In response, the Communications Officers of both Nkawkaw and Abirem Constituencies expressed their gratitude for the recognition and support. They also pledged to intensify their efforts to spread the government’s achievements and promote Dr. Bawumia’s Bold Solutions manifesto for electoral victory in December.
