The Ghana Police Service has initiated a manhunt for an armed gang that carried out a violent robbery at a jewelry shop in Adabraka, Accra, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, injuring one person during the attack.
During the commotion, one of the bags containing the stolen money opened, scattering cash. The gunman carrying the money reportedly began tossing some of it into the air, prompting onlookers to scramble to pick up what they could.
The gunmen eventually sped off, leaving behind a single shoe and a face towel.
Authorities are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the suspects involved in the incident, which has left the community shaken.
In a statement, police officials assured the public that they are committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice.
