Life Care Technology Ghana Ltd., a leading multinational medical technology company, has made a significant donation to the National Cardiothoracic Centre at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

The company presented a state-of-the-art Drager Savina 300 Classic Intensive Care Unit (ICU) ventilator, valued at $35,000, as part of its commitment to supporting healthcare delivery in Ghana.

The donation was officially handed over by Mr. Bishoy Fouad, Managing Director of Life Care Technology Ghana Ltd.

During the presentation, Mr. Fouad expressed the company’s appreciation for the Centre’s continued patronage of its services over the years. He described the gesture as a demonstration of the strong partnership between Life Care Technology and the hospital.

Receiving the equipment on behalf of the hospital, Dr. Frank Owusu-Sekyere, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, expressed profound gratitude to Life Care Technology.

He acknowledged the long-standing relationship between the two institutions and emphasized the positive impact of the donation on patient care.

“This partnership has been beneficial, and we hope such gestures will extend to other departments within the hospital,” Dr. Owusu-Sekyere noted.

Prof. Ernest Aniteye, Head of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the National Cardiothoracic Centre, also commended Life Care Technology for its continued support.

“Your generosity has consistently bolstered our capacity to provide critical care services, and we deeply appreciate your efforts,” he remarked.
