The Office of COP Nathan Kofi Boakye, Director of Security Operations at the Presidency, has dismissed allegations that he played a role in instigating chaos at Terminals 2 and 3 of Kotoka International Airport (KIA).
In a statement issued, the office described the claims as “baseless and malicious,” urging the public to disregard them.
The statement clarified that on the evening of the reported incident, COP Kofi Boakye acted decisively to restore order after a group of unruly individuals disrupted activities at the airport. His swift intervention reportedly ensured the safety of passengers, staff, and property, preventing further disturbances.
The Office categorically denied any accusations that COP Boakye orchestrated or supported the actions of the disruptive group, reaffirming his dedication to maintaining peace and security in his role as a public servant.
“We urge the public to disregard these falsehoods and call on media outlets to verify facts before disseminating harmful misinformation,” the statement concluded.
