Ghanaian dancehall sensation Jafaro Mohammed, widely known in showbiz as Addiself, took center stage at the Canada Day All-White Affair held at 4040 Steeles Avenue in Toronto.

The event, which took place on Monday, June 30, 2025, was a sold-out celebration of music, culture, and Caribbean energy.

Organized by Afro Entertainment in collaboration with La Shish, the All-White Affair attracted a vibrant blend of Caribbean diaspora, Afrobeat lovers, and dancehall fans from Toronto and surrounding areas.

Known for his high-energy performances and unique sound, Addiself lived up to expectations, delivering an electrifying show that kept the crowd on their feet throughout the night. Performing some of his hit songs such as “No Apology,” “Gyal Dem Daddy,” “1 Self,” and “Money Answer,” he captivated the audience with his lyrical prowess and stage presence.

The “Money Answer” music video, which was shot in Toronto, was also promoted following his performance, further establishing Addiself’s growing influence on the international dancehall scene.

The Self Nation boss was accompanied to Canada by his manager, Nana Yaw Ofosuhene Kye, popularly known as Yard Base, a renowned screen printer and talent developer.

Ahead of the event, Addiself and his team embarked on a media tour in Toronto, building anticipation and engaging with local audiences and media outlets.

The evening’s soundtrack was powered by some of Canada’s top DJs, including DJ Bravado and DJ Cookie DOH, who kept the energy alive before and after the main performance.

Opening acts Cobbi Kay, Cyborg, and Bugatti Bonsu warmed up the crowd with spirited sets, paving the way for Addiself’s show-stopping appearance.

Following his performance, Addiself expressed gratitude to his fans in Canada and beyond, encouraging continued support for his musical journey.

“Canada showed me love,” he said after the show. “To my fans and supporters across the globe, I see you. Keep backing the Self Nation brand—we’re going international.”

The success of the event adds to Addiself’s rising profile as one of Ghana’s promising exports in the dancehall and Afro-fusion music space.
