Over 400 New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in the Agona West Constituency of the Central Region have publicly declared their support for Dr. Bryan Acheampong ahead of the party’s upcoming presidential primaries.

Delegates said Dr. Acheampong stands out as a unifying figure compared to other aspirants and is the candidate best positioned to secure victory for the NPP in the 2028 general elections.

Some delegates revealed that while they supported Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong in previous elections, they now see Dr. Acheampong as the strongest contender.

Addressing a press conference at Agona Swedru, Leader of Concerned NPP Delegates and Agona Youth for Victory, Ebenezer Donkoh, emphasized the need for unity within the party.

“Dr. Bryan Acheampong is a unique candidate who can lead the party to victory in the 2028 elections. The party is at a crossroads, and the path we must follow is one that leads to unity and success,” Donkoh stated.

He further explained that Dr. Acheampong’s leadership style is capable of bringing cohesion to the NPP, calling on all delegates to support him in the upcoming primaries.

Delegates stressed that the party requires a strong and decisive leader who will embrace all members, uphold discipline and justice, and avoid creating tension or internal divisions.

They urged delegates across the country to rally behind Dr. Bryan Acheampong to secure NPP’s return to power in the 2028 elections.
