A 6-year-old Class One pupil, identified as Jennifer Ahomblah, has been found dead.
Ahomblah was found dead in a plastic box in her classroom.
The incident is reported to have occurred at Nsuaem in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality in the Western Region.

Details available indicate that on Monday, October 27, 2025, the minor failed to return home after school.
After unsuccessful attempts to locate her, the parents visited the information center to announce a search.
The minor’s body was discovered on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, inside a blue box.
The deceased’s father was informed and retrieved his daughter’s body, expressing great pain and sorrow over her passing
The Police have officially launched an investigation into the matter.
A reporter told Rainbow Radio that no body parts were removed, but her undergarments and shoes were taken by the suspected perpetrators.
Traditional leaders were also notified and arrived at the scene to perform rituals before the police retrieved the body.
