Excitement is building across the globe ahead of the highly-anticipated Final Draw for the FIFA World Cup 2026, with an astonishing nearly two million tickets already secured by fans in the first two sales phases.

Supporters spanning 212 countries and territories have claimed their seats for the tournament, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Unsurprisingly, residents of the host nations are leading the charge, with the highest demand coming from the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

However, the global pull of the tournament is clear, with strong interest also registered from football powerhouses including England, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Argentina, and France.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino extended his congratulations to the early buyers, emphasising the universal passion for the event.

He also reminded supporters that their next chance to apply begins on 11 December, immediately following the Final Draw event in Washington DC.

Heimo Schirgi, FIFA’s Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the surging global enthusiasm, noting that the opening match in Mexico City is now fewer than 200 days away.

The third ticketing window, officially known as the Random Selection Draw, will open on 11 December and will close on 13 January.

During this period, fans can apply for single-match tickets once the full schedule is released, based on the confirmed group-stage match-ups.

Crucially, supporters of nations that qualify for the tournament may also apply for Participating Member Association tickets, though eligibility remains subject to rules set by the individual national federations.

Fans still can secure exclusive hospitality packages, which include match tickets, via FIFA’s official website.

A vital warning has been issued by FIFA, urging supporters to purchase tickets exclusively from official channels.

The governing body stressed that possessing a match ticket does not automatically guarantee entry into any of the three host nations.

Supporters travelling to the United States could benefit from the recently introduced FIFA Priority Appointment Scheduling System for visa appointments, aiming to streamline the travel process.
