On Tuesday, 28th September 2021, Assembly Members of the La Dade-Kotopon Municipal confirmed Hon. Solomon Niikoi Kotey, the President’s nominee for the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) position.
He secured the votes of all 15 (100%) Assembly Members in an exercise supervised by officials of the Electoral Commission.
The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Henry Quartey expressed his gratitude to the Assembly members for confirming the President’s nominee.
Hon. Henry Quartey assured Assembly members of an all-inclusive leadership at the local level and as the Regional Minister, he is going to monitor and evaluate activities of MMDCEs to make sure all Assembly Members get the necessary support they need at their various electoral areas.
