Kabaka Foundation commissions projects in Nkwatia

The chairman and founder of KABAKA Foundation, Nana Owiredu Wadie known in private life as Mr Richard Nana Kwasi Wadie has simultaneously commissioned a series of projects undertaken by his social intervention foundation at Kwahu Nkwatia, on October 29, 2021.

The event which was climaxed and highly publicized by the Republic Media Group, notably, the Republic 97.5 Fm at Nkawkaw and the Republic Press in Accra has highly been regarded as one of the most visited event in the Kwahu enclave.

With family, friends, love ones and business associates of the newly crowned Nkosuohene (Development Chief), Nana Owiredu Wadie who besieged the Kwahu Nkwatia to witness the coronation of a true son of the Kwahu land, one can tell that, the event was largely attended by.

The ground coronation durbar took place at the Kwahu Nkwatia chief’s Palace after the commissioning of projects by the KABAKA Foundation.

Speaking to the media, Nana Owiredu Wadie intimated that, it is his utmost priority that the development and wellbeing of the people of Nkwatia are well addressed, thereby extending developments to other parts of the Kwahu block.

In his words, he thanked God for such a tremendous act of honor bestowed on him by the the God almighty.

“We thank everyone present here. We thank you for supporting us this far but first we thank God. We thank God very much for everything going on here. Its our deepest and heart felt prayer that, everything desirable on your hearts shall come to pass. In that light, we shall see light, we thank God” he said.

The Deputy Chief Coordinating Director who represented the District Chief Executive of the Kwahu East District Assembly at the commissioning of the projects, admonished and recognized the efforts of developments by the KABAKA foundation.

He noted that education is the main focus of development and that, with the  donations of educational materials provided by the KABAKA foundation, it will sharpen the students capability of reading.

Meanwhile, the District Director of Education for the  Kwahu East, also applauded Nana Owiredu Wadie for embarking on developmental spree to renovate the Nkwatia D/A school.

According to him, when the KABAKA Foundation reached out to him to reconstruct the school, he doubted the foundation’s ability to begin the renovation of the school within the one week as promised but for the timely intervention by the foundation, they have completed the project for commissioning.

He admonished the other related stakeholders to emulate from the KABAKA Foundation to help government’s agenda of giving the best of education in the country.
