Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development and MP for Techiman South Constituency, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah has extended financial support to 200 students mainly Tertiary from his Constituency at a program held at the Bononkyempem Hall in Techiman yesterday 22 January 2022.
This is in fulfillment of his pledge to continuously support people in School especially among needy students within his political catchment area. He has extended support to the people over the years through the MIKAM FOUNDATION.
This led to the instituted MIKAM TEACHER awards scheme for Teachers and other non Teaching Staff of the GES within the Techiman Traditional Area.
So far hundreds o beneficiaries have also received various packages ranging from home appliances, tricycles and cars, all aimed at motivating the beneficiaries.
This year’s Teacher awards program is expected to come off in October 2022.
