The Eastern Regional secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jeff Konadu Addo has commended the Member of Parliament for the Abetifi constituency, Bryan Acheampong for his commitment to ensure the growth and progress of education in the country.
He said, though government is doing its best to support teachers in the country, the commitment and effort from the MP cannot be ruled out.
Speaking to Republic FM’s Andy Frimpong Manso on the sidelines of the Teachers Appreciation Day organized by the MP, Bryan Acheampong at Pepease Kwahu, Mr. Jeff Konadu said, it is such a good initiative and thus, must be emulated by all well to do persons to uplift the education fortunes of the country.
“What we’re seeing here today is something good. Though, the good government is doing what is necessary but the commitment of the MP, Bryan Acheampong must be emulated. His commitment to assist teachers in his jurisdiction is a good one” he said.
The MP, since last December has held a series of donations, dinners and awards for public sector employees in his area, which has saw him met with 22, 572 employees
