Lakeside Village hosted the World Malaria Day program at Oyibi Presby Park on Monday, 25 April 2022, in collaboration with the Kpone-Katamanso Health Directorate of the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

Celebrated each year with a focus on malaria eradication, the event’s global theme this year is “Using Innovation to Reduce the Burden of Malaria and Save Lives”.

Malaria, which continues to devastate the health of millions of people around the world, has historically relied on the support of individuals and organizations around the world to mitigate its devastating impact on livelihoods.

Lakeside Village, the brand name of the 500-unit townhouse being built in the Lakeside Community in Ashley Botwe, and the Kpone-Katamanso Health Directorate of the Ghana Health Service join forces today to combat the impact of the disease in the Kpone Katamansu community.

The event was attended by various key stakeholders from the Health Directorate, staff and management of Lakeside Village, as well as part of the community leaders of Kpone-Katamansu Municipality.

In a brief note, Lakeside Village expresses its total commitment to providing only luxury housing units in the real estate industry, but also making an immense contribution to its corporate social responsibility by supporting the World Health Organization’s humanitarian goal in our local space.
