The substantive head of the Akwanor Royal Family at Ashalaja, Mr. Solomon Mintah Ackaah has called on the general public to treat media report regarding his removal as a distortion of facts.
“Let me emphatically state that I have not been removed as head of the Akwanor Royal Family. I am still the head of family and been going around my normal duties without any fear or favour,” Mr. Ackaah stated.
He said the Supreme Court ruling on April 14, 2022, has brought finality to the issue of headship of the Akwanor Royal Family of Ashalaja.
“The apex court declared me as the substantive head of the family and this is a known fact to everyone including Ismaila Armah Quansah, who claimed he has been installed as head of family,” he stated.

“I instituted an interlocutory injunction against Mr. Quansah after he was installed as family head of the Akwaanor Royal Family from Simpa-Winneba but the court dismissed the application because I claimed I am from Moree so the court said we are not from the same family.” Mr. Ackaah said
The fact of the matter is that the High Court is yet to determine the merit of the substantive case so how can Mr. Quansah and his people jubilate of having worn the case.
Nii Ackaah said in other to maintain peace and sanity in the area, the Nii Akwanor Royal Family
established a Land Administration Secretariat being managed by Sissamba Empire Company Limited, a registered company which they referred to as landguards.
He said, those workers being referred to as Landguards are all genuine people working for the interest of the company and the people of Ashalaja adding that, the said allegation would be dealt with at the appropriate quarters where Mr. Adams Addy who made such allegations would be obliged to proof his claim.
