NPP General Secretary hopeful, Mr. Charles Onuawonto Bissue has reiterated his commitment to modernized the operations and affairs of the New Patriotic Party if he wins the position.
Outlining his philosophy, he said, he is dedicated to bringing in all inclusive and sustainable collaboration between the party and government.
He believes that unity and coordination will be paramount for the party to break the 8 mantra.
“My philosophy is bringing inclusive and sustainable collaboration between the party and government. What this means is that, we must unite as one people to be make a solid team to serve the party well. It’s not an aggressive approach or fight, it’s policies we will all lay down to run the party”.
According to the Western regional secretary of the NPP, the structures of the party is not being managed effectively.
“I’ve said that the structure of our political party is not being managed effectively and if I’m able to become the General – secretary he will make drastically change in the party’s management”.
However, he added that the current General Secretary whose tenure will expire next July has done his best and must pave way for others to continue.
“Every season has its own leader and records are there to broken. John Boadu et al has done their best and we have to continue and that’s why we have had General Secretaries likes Adjenim Boateng, Dan Botwe. But at this point, we need to modernized our political party”, he told Kwame Koranteng on Republic FM on Monday, June 6.
Mr. Bissue has once been a member of the consecutive party in the UK before moving to Ghana. He was the Chairman of the NPP’s branch in Northampton and oversee the expansion of the NPP in the UK.
