A farmer, Yesuvi Adjei, has allegedly bitten his elder brother, Godwin Kudzo Adjei, forty-seven at Menuso inside the Kadjebi District of the Oti Region.
The media reports indicate that Yesuvi’s 2nd casualty, the late Dodzi, a farm hand from Notsie in Togo, additionally died under a bizarre circumstance.
Madam Elizabeth Addae, mom of the deceased, said a misunderstanding ensued between her sons, and during the confusion, Yesuvi bit his brother’s finger.
She stated Kudzo Adjei was rushed to the St. Mary Theresa Hospital, Dodi-Papase, where he passed on.
Mr Rahman Abdul Baba, the Assembly Member for Menuso Electoral Area, said Yesuvi was arrested by the police.
He stated that a circle of relatives members, who took the deceased to the morgue, had been additionally arrested and granted bail.
Mr Eric Nana Takyi, Kadjebi District Director of Health Services, when contacted over the demise, said, “we need to analyze the issue further since it’s bizarre.”
