A self-styled electrician identified as Yaw Aputu believed to be in his 30s has been electrocuted at Kwame Baah Krom (community) near Assin North Municipality of the Central Region.
According to reports obtained by myrepubliconline.com, the deceased Yaw Aputu was a professional mason and hails from Assin Adubiase in the Assin South of the Central Region.
The reports say he was hired to work as an electrician to wire a Mosque at Kwame Baah Krom (community) near Kwame Ankrah Community.
Unfortunately, he was electrocuted in the process of transferring the power from the electricity high tension to the mosque.
His body has been taken off from the pole by Assin Fosu ECG staff with the support of the Police and has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy and preservation.
The police have also commenced an investigation into the matter.
Meanwhile, ECG in Assin Fosu has warned self-styled electricians to desist from going nearer to ECG materials.
