Students of Agona Ofoase D/A Basic School in the Central Region are crying over the lack of textbooks and other teaching materials to facilitate teaching and learning.
Speaking to the press, the students disclosed that there is no single textbook.
According to them, this is a major concern as teaching and learning have become very difficult for them and their teachers.
They, therefore, called on the government through the Member of Parliament (MP) for Agona East Hon. Queenster Pokuah Sawyerr to intervene.
Teachers in various schools are currently on strike following disapproval from some teacher unions on the appointment of Dr Eric Nkansah as the new GES boss.
