Miscreants have turned the Akyem Amonum Basic and Kindergarten school in Atiwa West District, into a public latrine.
The Assembly Member for the area, Bismark Yaw Duodu while speaking to newsmen, appealed to the government to fence the school to prevent these lawbreakers in the community from entering the school.
He said, due to the absence of the fence in the school people get access and do what they want.
The caterer in the school, Madam Theresa of Amonom DA Primary school further added that apart from using the rooms as their public toilet, these miscreants also smoke narcotic drugs and break into their store room and make away with their foodstuffs purposely meant for cooking for the children.
