A man identified as Yahaya has been beaten to death at Jukwa Abrafo-Odumase in the Hemang Lower Denkyira District of the Central Region.
The deceased is suspected to have stolen oil.
However, luck eluded him and he was apprehended by the people of Abrafo-Odumase.
They tied him to wood and beat him to death.
A report sighted by myrepubliconline.com indicates that at least 15 people have been arrested by the Jukwa police in connection with the instant justice meted out to the suspected oil thief.
The remaining suspects have bolted from the community.
The incident happened on Wednesday evening.
