A fifty-seven year old man, Mr Charles Kwame Nti, popularly known as Alla Shia Gon, got drowned in the Mim Water Works Dam.
The lifeless body was discovered floating in the dam which supply water to the entire township.
A friend of the deceased who works with Forestry Commission in an interview with Rejoice FM said the deceased is married with six kids but divorced his wife and now leaving lonely.
He added the deceased left home three days ago and all attempts searching for his whereabout by his family and friends yielded no results. He added that the deceased has a mental problem.
The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the Goaso Municipal mortuary for autopsy.
