Head coach of Hasaacas Ladies, Yusif Basigi has been appointed again to take charge as the head coach of the Black Princess.
Basigi has been coaching the women U-20 side from 2017 till 2020 before he was appointed as the assistant coach of the Ghana national under-23 football team, assisting Paa Kwesi Fabin along with Godwin Attram.
However, he is back to lead Ghana’s Women’s U-20 team.
Yusif Basigi now replaces Ben Fokuo who was in charge of the team in the U-20 Women’s World Cup and was eliminated in the group stages in Costa Rica a few months ago.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies’ head coach, Joe Nana Adarkwa will assist Basigi while Anita Wiredu, Dr Mabel Aboah, Asabea Opare, Susie Djoleto, Aisha Bukari and Genevieve Clottey will all be part of the newly instituted technical team.
The Black Princesses will represent Ghana at the 13th African Games to be held in Accra in August 2023.
