Accra Hearts of Oak on Thursday confirmed that Gladson Awako has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.
The new development will see Awako stay at the club till 2024, with the option to extend.
According to Hearts of Oak, the 32-year-old has been in fine form this season and deserves to be rewarded with a contract extension.
The Black Galaxies captain is currently in camp with his teammate, in preparation towards the CHAN 2023 tournament which will be played in Algeria.
Speaking to heartsofoaksc.com, the midfielder is pleased with the extension.
