Comedian and Youtuber, Akabenezer popularly known as Dr Likee, has been named the brand ambassador for Shaxi, a ride-hailing service for popular dancehall singer Shatta Wale.
On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, Shatta Wale launched his new Shaxi business in Accra, and as part of extending it, he has now moved to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Dr Likee said he has had a relationship with Shatta Wale for many years now, and expressed his gratitude, as well as the many Kumawood actors who were there to support him.
“I have known Shatta Wale for many years now through Kwaku Manu so if today he has started such a business, the only thing I can do is to support him.
He also called on Ghanaians to love and support Shatta Wale’s Shaxi business.
“Let us support our own so that Shaxi is well known in the whole of Africa,” he said.
