The popular saying that “Haters don’t really hate you, they hate themselves. You’re a reflection of what they wish to be” is true as a regular follower of Ghanaian actress Andrea Owusu also known as Efia Odo has asked the television presenter for forgiveness.

In a tweet sighted by myrepubliconline.com, the regular follower Nana Kwaku Adu, said he was amazed to see Efia Odo part of the conveners of the #FixTheCountryNow campaign.

He stated that he initially did not like the actress because he thought she was misleading the youth especially the ladies with her lifestyle.

According to him, he liked Efia Odo when she started championing the course of the #FixTheCountryNow campaign on Twitter and openly declared to be part of the conveners to plan the protest against the government on May 9.

The follower who has now become a loyal disciple of Efia Odo rendered an apology to her for hating her.

“Dear @efiaodo, I never liked you at first because I thought you were misleading the youth(ladies) but trust me I have grown a huge amount of respect and love within my heart for you and @gyaigyimii over the past few days. I really hope you forgive me for my initial hatred.” Nana Kwaku Adu tweeted

Efia Odo tweeted, “So people are actually satisfied with the current state of Ghana and they think it doesn’t need fixing? Cement went from 32 cedis to 52 cedis! The price of food and fuel is increasing day in and out and you’re telling us to fix ourselves first ? Please #FixTheCountryGhana first!”

The group that started the #FixTheCountry trend on social media will on May 9, 2021 demonstrate over the severe economic hardships in the country.
