A bus carrying students of Osino Presby Senior High School has crashed in a tragic accident, claiming the lives of two students and leaving several others to sustain various degrees of injuries at Teacher Mante in the Eastern Region.
The Nissan minibus with the registration number GG-2071-21 transporting students of Osino Presby SHS got involved in the accident on Friday, June 2.
According to an eyewitness account, the driver who was heading to Accra from Osino was on top speed. During the process, the Tyre of the vehicle is said to have burst, leaving the driver out of control of the wheel which resulted in the vehicle somersaulting several times.
Some residents in an early intervention assisted in rescuing the trapped students.
The bodies of the two students who lost their lives have since been deposited at the Nsawam Government Hospital mortuary.
