Black Stars pair, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer have reportedly withdrawn from the Black Meteors squad ahead of the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Both players were included in the provisional squad by head coach, Ibrahim Tanko, as the team looked to book a place in the 2024 Olympics scheduled to take place in France.
Kamaldeen, Ransford Yeboah and Ernest Nuamah were expected to join the Black Meteors camp in Egypt, right after the Black Stars AFCON qualifier match against Madagascar.
However, reports have indicated that Sulemana and Ransford may not represent Ghana in Morocco for the U-23 AFCON which will commence on June 24, 202, and end on July 8, 2023.
Ibrahim Tanko’s men will continue preparation in Egypt, where they have held pre-tournament camping.
