The Black Queens of Ghana have today, July 11, 2023, left Accra, to make their way to Conakry, where they will face Guinea in their first-leg qualifying match for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
After the men’s U-23 team was unable to qualify, the senior national women’s team of Ghana will attempt to obtain a result that will allow them to secure an edge over their opponents.
Head coach of the women’s team, Nora Häuptle named 23 players, who will come up against their West African counterpart.
The first leg match will be played on Friday, July 14, 2023.
