The leadership of the New Democratic Congress (NDC) at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, has once again chosen actor John Dumelo to represent the party in the parliamentary elections for the 2024 general elections.
A statement released and signed by constituency chairman, indicated that after broad consultation with leadership of the party and other aspirants, an agreement has been reached to allow John Dumelo to represent the NDC.
Actor Fred Nuamah, who was one of the aspirants looking to represent the NDC in the constituency, dropped out of the parliamentary primaries race on August 8, 2023 to support his colleague actor.
The party has therefore, called on all members of the constituency to support John Dumelo, as they have set sights on securing the seat for the NDC.
“We call upon all party members, supporters, constituents, and the public to rally behind Mr. John Dumelo and support his campaign wholeheartedly. Together, let us work towards the shared goal of securing victory for the NDC in Ayawaso West Wuogon and building the Ghana we want together.”
