The management of the Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), has reversed its decision that asked over 600 students to defer their courses after they were unable to pay their school fees.
This comes after an emergency Academic Board meeting was called on Monday, August 14, 2023 to discuss the issues which arose following the inability of the students to register for the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.
A statement released by the university has indicated that the board’s decision is that, a special examination is going to be organized for the affected students at the end of second semester examinations.
However, only those who have fully settled their fees with penalties will be allowed to sit for the exams.
