Ghanaian boxer, Seth Gyimah, popularly called Freezy MacBones, has recorded his first defeat in his career at the ongoing 2024 Olympic qualifiers in Senegal on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
The bout, which was his debut for Ghana after his decision to join the national boxing team, the Black Bombers, saw the 33-year-old lose to Senegalese Seydou Konate in the Light Heavyweight division[81kg].
Despite the defeat, MacBones could still make it to the Olympic Games, if he is able to qualify in the European and Asian playoffs in 2024.
