A ten-year-old girl has been allegedly raped to death by a forty-year-old man at Ohene Akura near Asuboni rails in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.
According to sources, the suspect, Kwabena Larbi, allegedly lured the victim, Angel Akua Kisiwaa Yeboah, and forcibly raped and strangled her to death.
The deceased’s mother stated that she was alerted about the tragic occurrence by other residents who informed her that her ten-year-old daughter had been found lifeless in the suspect’s room.
The suspect is currently in police custody assisting in investigations.
