The Police have arrested one Seidu Musah alias Gaswan in connection with the attack on the coach of Nsoatreman FC, Mr. Maxwell Konadu during a Betpawa premier league game at the Coronation park in Sunyani

Coach of Nsoatreman FC Maxwell Konadu, was assaulted by some fans of Bofoakwa Tano after their match against Nsoatreman ended in a goalless draw on Sunday November 19, 2023.

The GFA and the ministry of youth and sports have since condemned the act and called for an investigation and arrest culprits to face the law.

In a statement released in the early hours of Monday November 20, 2023, the police service said “We wish to assure the public that we will surely get the suspects arrested to face justice.”

The police have however arrested one suspect Seidu Musah who is currently in Police custody assisting the investigation while efforts are still ongoing to get the other suspect arrested to face justice.

The police have once again assured the general public of arresting the other suspect to face the law.

The GFA has also issued a temporary ban on Bofoakwa Tano from using the Coronation park as their home ground till further notice.
