The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), is scheduled to hold an emergency meeting today, February 23, 2024, at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.
This was announced by General Secretary of the NPP, Justin Kodua Frimpong in a press statement on Thursday, February 22.
The meeting comes at a time the Majority Leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu resigned from his position, and thus is expected to address issues of changes to the leadership of the majority in parliament.
The discussion is also expected to center on the work of the party’s manifesto committee.
“I extend to you warm greetings from the National Secretariat of the Party. By the order of the National Chairman, Mr. Stephen Ayesu Ntim, you are hereby notified that there will be an emergency National Council meeting on Friday, February 23, 2024.”
