Two of Ghana’s finest artistes, Shatta Wale and King Promise are set to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2023 All African Games.
The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) confirmed both of them to headline the event, which will take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Friday, March 8, 2024.
In the lineup are legendary Pat Thomas, Ebo Taylor, as well as South African dancer and singer, Kamo Mphela.
The ceremony is anticipated to begin at 3 pm, with other sports to follow.
Ghana is expecting about 13,000 participants to grace the 2023 African Games, which is the first time being hosted here.
