MTN Ghana has announced that it has restored its internet network capacity to improve data service following the widespread internet disruption in the country.
In a statement dated March 24, 2024, the leading communication network disclosed that it has adopted the use of alternative cables to support its customers and enhance data service.
However, the telco network stated that the repair works on the undersea cables are still ongoing and expected to take about 5 to 7 weeks.
“We are happy to inform you that MTN has restored normal internet network capacity to provide improved data services. We appreciate your patience during the recent service interruption”, portion of the release read.
MTN Ghana assured that all bundles lost during the disruption period will be restored.
